A stingy newspaperman kept and save all the notebook pages which only had one side used. Naturally such an economic move save him money… but consumed much of his time. At the end of one year, he sat down and figured it out:
He saved 30 cents worth of paper.
He lost one dollar in time.
MONEY
Workers earn it.
Spendthrifts burn it.
Bankers lend it.
Women spend it.
Forgers fake it.
Taxes take it.
Dying leave it.
Heirs receive it.
Thrifty save it.
Misers crave it.
Robbers seize it.
Rich increase it.
Gamblers lose it.
